Economist Intelligence Unit, EIU, an independent forecasting and advisory business within the Economist Group has said Lagos is the fourth worst city in the world.

Up there on the top worst cities in the world with Lagos is Port Moresby, in Papua New Guinea on 38.9 per cent, which shares Lagos’ 137 position.

Although the report made available yesterday described Lagos as the second-fastest growing city in Africa, “Rapid growth is not always a good thing because Lagos is now a magnet for two perpetual threats to peace: pirates and Islamist warriors.

“Boko Haram have a problem with cities like Lagos and also lots of weaponry. Pirates threaten trade and use kidnapping as a method of funding. Islamist terrorist groups such as Boko Haram (“Education is forbidden”) want to create their own version of heaven on earth by destroying cities such as Lagos and imposing strict sharia law. Lagos has enormous potential but as yet little to show for it – hence its poor ranking,” the report said.

Rihanna posed at the Chanel Paris Haute Couture fall 2013-14 show with very little underneath her plunging cream cardigan. We could clearly tell she went without a bra because we could see a very prominent piercing through her sweater dress.

Amanda Seyfried ditched her bra for the LA premiere of Lovelace, since her metallic gold T-back metallic dress wouldn't have looked so stunning with one on. We'll give the actress a pass this time, but the rule of thumb when showing side-boob is that the girls should be perky, not even the least bit droopy.

Another Actor Gone Gay, Kyle XY’s Matt Dallas!

We don’t know if we should be expecting more on this gay list but the surprises haven’t stopped pouring in. A Russian government invitation to Prison Break actor, Wentworth Miller led to him confessing about his sexuality and now, for no just course, ABC Family sci-fi series Kyle XY actor, Matt Dallas has come out to announce his engagement!

We are not against gay peeps so please don’t get it twisted but hey, we are Africans! Matt Dallas, 30, said yes to his long time partner, music producer Blue Hamilton, 25 –who’s worked with Justin Bieber – and both may be tying the knot soon. Wonder if that’s gonna be a public announcement too!

Matt was so excited that he tweeted, “Starting off the year with a new fiancé, Blue Hamilton. A great way to kick off 2013!”

“This is the greatest day of my life- apart from my baby daughter being born. I want to make a difference to the young kids in Africa as they are the rout of the nation. Those words poured out of the new Mister Africa 2013, Botswana born Jaydon Anderson at the just ended 2013 Mr Africa International Male Pageant on Saturday, August 24 at the Africa Center in London. He went in with 19 other well built African models and passed through the beach wear, suit and final questioning stages and emerged Africa’s Sexiest Man Alive.

Jaydon Anderson is taking over the crown from Sierra Leonean model Adonis O’Holi ahead of Mr. Gabon Williams and Mr. Ghana, Guiseppe Nkansah respectively. Jaydon became a new daddy on same day as his victory and he dedicated his crown to his newly born daughter. Guess she brought him such good fortune after all.

Khloe Kardashian Got Her Man Back!

After a sudden and ridiculous disappearing act by Lamar Odom from home, the Kardashian and Odom family have been worried sick of his where about but the good news is, Lamar has gone back home.

The former NBA star has been having problems in his marriage thanks to his abuse of drugs and his inability to keep his zip up. His wife’s intervention with his drug use led to his departure from home for over 5 days.

Reports say the basket ball star drove into their Tarzana- California home on Monday but slept all alone as his wife spent the night with her mother – Kris Jenner. She returned home Tuesday alongside brother, Rob Kardashian and was welcomed by a guilty, tearful and apologetic prodigal husband. Closes sources claim, “He was so ashamed of himself;f and was practically in tears. Khloe cried as she held him too and it was all just emotions”

Lamar had apparently had gone to meet with his agent, Jeff Schwartz for advice on his marriage and drug addiction and was seen sweating and pacing through the hotel where the meeting was scheduled to hold. Perhaps he was high! Well, seems the agent did a pretty good job by sending him back to his love ones.

Are we going to be seeing this drama on the next ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ and will Lamar Odom agree to continue with the reality show after he settles into rehab?

Sweet’s Syndrome; Symptoms, Causes, Complication, Treatment And Drugs, Lifestyle.

Sweet’s syndrome — also known as acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis — is a rare skin condition marked by fever and painful skin lesions that appear mainly on your arms, neck, face and back. The exact cause of Sweet’s syndrome isn’t always known. In some people, it’s triggered by an infection, illness or certain medications. Sweet’s syndrome can also occur with some types of cancer. Signs and symptoms often disappear just a few days after treatment begins, but recurrence is common.

Symptoms

Sweet’s syndrome is marked by an abrupt eruption of small red bumps on your arms, neck, face or back — often after a fever or upper respiratory infection. The bumps grow quickly in size, spreading into painful clusters up to an inch or so in diameter.

When to see a doctor

If you develop a painful, red rash that quickly grows in size, see your doctor for appropriate treatment.

Causes

In most cases, the cause of Sweet’s syndrome isn’t known. Sweet’s syndrome is sometimes associated with cancer, most often leukemia. A few cases may be associated with a solid tumor, such as chest or colon cancer. Sweet’s syndrome may also occur as a reaction to a medication — most commonly a type of drug that boosts production of white blood cells.

Complication

There is a risk of the skin lesions becoming infected. Follow your doctor’s recommendations for caring for the affected skin. In cases where Sweet’s syndrome is associated with cancer, the eruptions of the lesions may be the first sign of cancer either appearing or recurring.
