Group calls for constituencies’ project………..Says Wale Fatade

The media support centre MSC an organization that uses the collective information of Nigerians to advocate social justice issues and those of good governance has today delve on Nigerian constituencies with its  current project on “they work for you; campaign to reform the consistency projects in Nigeria”. This project centers on bringing attention to the public as to know more on how billions of naira.
Basically, the burdens of Nigeria democratic governance are not solely to be shoulder by the presidency however huge trunk of it is at the disposal of the members of the Senate and the House of Representatives respectively. Last years 100 billion naira fund is being allocated to constituency projects. To this senator Ali Ndume confirmed when he said that “a total of 900 billion has so far been appropriated for constituency projects of legislature since 2004. The money which is domiciled in the central bank of Nigeria with the ministry of finance; ministry   of special duties and inter- governmental affairs in Abuja, the project usually come to the national assembly as an executive act special intervention fund”. This year’s budget recently got signed and the budgeted amount is 4.6 trillion naira as agreed by the Senate and House Of Representatives.
